Safety Weekend 2026:
Building Skills, Confidence and Community

One weekend can make a lifetime of difference.

On June 27 and 28, 2026, the Live Like Aiden Foundation welcomed children and families to Black Creek Scout Reservation for a free weekend of hands-on learning, outdoor adventure and meaningful time together.

In partnership with Georgia DNR, participants learned valuable skills through hunter safety, fishing, water safety, target shooting, skeet shooting, zip lining and other outdoor activities. More than a weekend of fun, Safety Weekend was an opportunity to build confidence, encourage responsible outdoor recreation and share lessons that can help save lives.

This event was made possible by a community that believes in protecting and investing in its children. We are incredibly grateful for our sponsors, volunteers, Georgia DNR and Black Creek Scout Reservation. Every donation, meal, resource and helping hand played a part in bringing the weekend together.

Thank you to the families who joined us and to everyone who continues to support the mission of the Live Like Aiden Foundation. We are honored to keep Aiden’s memory alive by helping young people learn, grow and enjoy the outdoors safely.

Together, we Build. Love. Grow.

Take a look back at some of the special moments from Safety Weekend 2026. From learning new skills to making new friends and memories, these photographs show what can happen when a community comes together for its children.
